Clinical Pilates and Exercise Therapy

Clinical Pilates and gym-based rehabilitation focus on restoring strength, control, and functional capacity through targeted exercise. Tim has been teaching Pilates in his studios since 2014; having qualified as a Pilates instructor in 2013. Tim has found that Pilates targets those muscles that most of us don’t even know that he have. Especially the men!

In addition, we have a full range of dumbbells and exercise equipment for rehabilitation and observation of lifting, bending, squatting and exercise techniques; in order to give accurate feedback.

Tim can devise programs for hip and lumbar rehabilitation, tendon loading, core activation, balance and gait training, as well as return-to-sport and competition conditioning. Tim enjoys working with athletes of all persuasions and has worked extensible;y with runners and swimmers.

Programs are individually designed using assessment findings, from objective measures (using VALD and realtime ultrasound,) technique coaching, and progressive resistance training.
