Focused Shockwave Therapy is a precision, non-invasive treatment that utilises accoustic shockwaves to assist tendon, ligament, soft-tissue and bone healing. Tim also uses this equipment with his Men’s Health and urology patients.
Tim uses an advanced focused shockwave system designed by the top range medical equipment company BTL. Focused shockwave targets deep structures with accuracy; unlike radial shockwave where the energy is dispersed and the treatments can be painful.

Tim currently uses this equipment to treat chronic tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, gluteal tendinopathy, frozen shoulder, tennis and golfer’s elbow, adductor and hamstring tendon issues and benign prostate hyperplasia.

Usually four to six sessions are sufficient. Focused shockwave is combined with assessment, load management, and strengthening to support longer-term recovery rather than offering short-term symptom relief alone.
